My Salsa Recipe

Since last week, I shared my famous guacamole recipe, I thought I would share with you guys my salsa recipe today.  I love making fresh salsa because with all these veggies, it just seems so healthy!  Luckily one of the great things about living in California is all the fresh produce we can get all year round, though this time I couldn’t find corn at the farmer’s market, so I just used canned corn:

Here is the ingredient list:

The measurements can all be change according to your own personal preferences.  I like garlic, so I tend to  add a lot of it.

Salsa requires lots of chopping!  Whenever I make salsa, I usually make guac, too, since I can just chop up all the ingredients at once.

Mix all together in a bowl:

Let sit in the fridge for at least an hour so that all the flavors mesh together. Then serve!

I think salsa, guac and chips served with taco salad is Jeff’s all-time favorite meal, so I make it pretty often for him. Check out my taco seasoning recipe to complete this meal!
