Fit for a princess!

For our flower girl’s 5th birthday last week, not only did we make princess cupcakes, but I also wanted to make her some special custom t-shirts with her name on them:

Because she was having a princess-themed party, I made her a princess shirt, cutting out heat transfer material with my Silhouette machine (the font is one of my favorite fonts, we used it throughout our wedding):

The jewels on her crown was made from this rhinestone iron-on that I got from the clearance section for .99:

I cut out a few of the individual crystals and ironed them on directly to the shirt:

I also made her this cupcake shirt by cutting up some scrap fabric that I had and embroidering them on. I topped the cupcake off with a “cherry” button:

And lastly, I cut some flowers out with my Silhouette and sewed some buttons in the center:

All packaged up and ready to be present to the princess!
